As bandwidth-intensive applications and quality expectations surge, service providers need end-to-end visibility now more than ever to improve application quality of experience, plan network capacity, and grow revenues.
Sandvine’s Application and Network Intelligence (ANI) Portal provides service providers with a single pane of glass to analyze, optimize, and monetize applications. It brings the application quality of experience (QoE) lens needed to successfully run networks, where video, gaming, social sharing, and managed enterprise and IoT services are delivered efficiently to meet consumer and enterprise expectations.
The portal visualizes Sandvines’s Application and Network Intelligence across the entire use case portfolio. It aligns each use case with key outcomes, clearly demonstrating the value and ROI delivered by Sandvine's solutions. It adds contextual insights to each use case, including unique QoE metrics at the network, application, device, and user level. These insights are mapped to the workflow of different organizations – from the CTO to network planning, engineering, operations, big data, and marketing teams, ensuring maximum action-ability.
With this intelligence, service providers can successfully analyze, optimize and monetize applications.
ScoreCard leverages Sandvine’s unique scoring technology to measure, score, and visualize how well key application categories are performing. It measures key network metrics (throughput, packet loss, and latency) and assigns a score from 1-5 for each application category. Scores are visualized with uses colored tiles (red, yellow, and green) for understanding at a glance.
This executive-level view is a powerful tool to understand application-based QoE on the network, which is pertinent to ensuring customer satisfaction. ScoreCard, the initial view in the ANI Portal, serves as an overview or early indicator for further investigation and troubleshooting via Sandvine use cases.
