The year 2023 will no doubt be remembered as the year of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour, Taylor Swift’s two number one albums, Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce, and probably some other things Taylor Swift did. And oh yeah, AI.
That said, we had a pretty good year ourselves. To recap:
In January 2023, we released our annual “Global Internet Phenomena Report,” tracking internet application usage around the world. It was our biggest and best report, attracting a great deal of attention from press, analysts, government regulators, and industry policymakers.
In February, we unveiled at MWC 2023 our flagship AppLogic product, a highly accurate application identification, classification, and categorization engine that ensures the most critical apps, and the most critical content within those apps, are delivered with the best possible quality. AppLogic helps operators and enterprises optimize their network investments, while at the same time improving customer satisfaction.
In April, we recommitted our company to supporting and promoting sustainable business practices across the board, from product development and manufacturing, to materials reduction and virtualization.
And not only have we increased the energy efficiency of our own devices, but with an entire product suite designed to enable true end-to-end network optimization, we believe “the most efficient router is the one you don’t have to buy.”
In September, we took home the prestigious Leading Lights award for “Outstanding Use Case: Customer Experience” for our groundbreaking work with Telenet, a European leader in fixed mobile convergence and cloud-native 5G services. Working together, we created a proactive service model that could predict customer satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) with 80%+ accuracy, resulting in fewer truck rolls, reduced churn, and greater CSAT numbers.
And throughout the year, we met with operators, policy makers, regulators, and industry leaders to make the case for fair share investments across the telecom infrastructure. We believe that only by sharing the responsibility for ensuring adequate infrastructure, can both content providers and network providers sustainably succeed.
So yeah, it’s been a pretty good year for us too. But we’re just getting started. In the next few months, you’ll see more eye-popping insights than ever in our “2024 Global Internet Phenomena Report,” as well as new products and solutions for the telecom and enterprise markets.
And as always, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the latest internet application usage trends and delivering products and solutions that enable network operators to stay one step ahead of customer expectations, resulting in reduced costs and greater customer satisfaction. Something not even Tay Tay can deliver.
Happy Holidays to all of our customers, partners, and followers. See you in 2024!
