Featured Career:

IT Systems Administrator

Waterloo, Ontario

You will be responsible for the support, administration, and management of a mixed Windows and Linux server environment. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will act as both a resource and lead on a variety of IT projects such as system deployments and upgrades, as well as the documentation and implementation of new process or procedural improvements.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Windows server and Active Directory management and administration
• Linux server deployment and administration
• Ongoing server maintenance and care
• Support and administration of system backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Participation in various IT projects

You will be required to work on a rotating on-call schedule

If you have what it takes to work in a diverse, dynamic environment, we want to talk to you right away!

• Three to five years experience in a server administration and support role
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
• Basic network troubleshooting and resolution skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks to completion
• Strong enthusiasm to learn
